Easy Chili

Crockpot Chili: 2-3 cans (14 fl oz) kidney beans = 4 1/2 cups 3 cans (28 fl oz) diced tomatoes  =12 cups 4 cups browned and drained ground beef 1 heaping Tbsp salt 1 heaping Tbsp chili powder 1 heaping Tbsp brown sugar 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp celery seed (optional) Combine all ingrediants together in a large crockpot. Simmer to bring out the flavour. High for 4 hours Low for 8 hours If you want to make it on the stove, combine and simmer at a medium heat for 1 hour. Serves 8 This is a quick fix recipe! I keep cans of diced tomatoes and kidney beans in my pantry. I also keep ground hamburger already browned in my freezer. If I know it is going to be a busy evening, or having company on short notice, this is one of my go to recipes!
